The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leroy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ragi as he jumps to the side.
Leroy swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Leroy has taken the fight to the clinch.
Leroy pulls guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Ragi working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Leroy is looking for a triangle but Ragi pushes his legs off easily.
Leroy manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Leroy is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Ragi has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Leroy is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Ragi to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Ragi shrugs it off.

Leroy shoots in for a takedown but Ragi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Leroy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ragi swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Horrible takedown by Ragi or perhaps it was just good defense by Leroy which made him look bad.

Ragi gets tackled into the cage by Leroy. Leroy maintains the clinch.
Ragi wants the takedown. Leroy is fighting it off but Ragi persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Leroy's guard against the cage.
Leroy is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Brandon Leroy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Leroy bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ragi's guard.
