Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dead Pool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drake Firentz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pool tries a head kick but it misses.

Firentz shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Pool's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Firentz tries to free his leg and advance position but Pool is retaining full guard.
Pool is pulling down on Firentz's head. It's preventing any offense from Firentz, at least for the moment.

Firentz is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Pool can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Firentz cracks Pool with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Firentz is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Pool can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Firentz sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Firentz closes the distance and clinches up with Pool, looking for a takedown. Firentz pushes Pool against the cage but Pool circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Firentz tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Firentz has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Well Firentz has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
