Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Krol! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jake Wallace! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab by Krol. Wallace throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Krol's waist but Krol gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wallace off to one side. Wallace closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Krol did well to prevent Wallace getting side control. Krol is trying to get back to full guard. Krol pushes Wallace off but Wallace dives into side control.
Krol is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Wallace is controlling him well. Wallace is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Krol knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wallace tries for a kimura but Krol is defending well. Wallace works to advance to full mount. Krol defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krol tries to hold on but Wallace pushes him away. Wallace is trying to take his opponent's back.
Krol tries to lock up and control but Wallace gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Krol knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wallace on the ground. Wallace is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Krol has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Krol is looking to get to half guard. Wallace has isolated one of Krol's arms. Krol looking to fight him off but Wallace twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
