Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sam De Wolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kang Ho Song (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Wolf might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Johnny Cash - Hurt. Kang Ho Song will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sam De Wolf! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kang Ho Song! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight moves into the clinch position. Wolf is trying to break free. Wolf breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Wolf tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Song paws at him with a jab and circles away. Wolf shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Wolf wants to pass the guard but Song is defending well. Wolf looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Song pushes Wolf off looking to stand but Wolf dives back in and keeps control.
Song is looking to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wolf looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Wolf is just content to waste time from the top position. Song takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Song manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Song looking to control but Wolf is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Song is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Wolf has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Wolf! Wolf has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wolf is stalling in the full guard. Wolf wants to stand but Song is controlling his posture from full guard. Wolf sitting in guard, not really doing much. Song is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Wolf gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Wolf moves in looking to clinch but Song pushes him off. Wolf throws a right and a left that both miss. Wolf misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wolf shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Song sprawls well. Song wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wolf gets slowly back to his feet. Wolf keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Song showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Wolf.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Song shoots in for a takedown but Wolf shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Wolf wants to clinch up but Song keeps it at a distance. Song shoots in but Wolf avoids the takedown attempt easily. Sam De Wolf has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kang Ho Song. Wolf swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wolf fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Song sprawls well initially but Wolf persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Wolf wants to take a breather but Song is having none of it. Wolf performing his best blanket impression for a moment. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sam De Wolf dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Wolf stuffs the takedown attempt from Song. Song gets slowly back to his feet. Sam De Wolf seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Song with a lazy takedown attempt and Wolf counters with a nice body shot. Wolf moves into range and clinches up with Song. Song avoids the elbow strike from Wolf, against the cage.
Song has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Wolf is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Sam De Wolf has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kang Ho Song. Wolf has Song pressed against the cage.
Wolf wants the takedown. Song is fighting it off but Wolf persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Song's guard against the cage. Song keeping moving, preventing Wolf from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wolf sitting in guard, not really doing much. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Song is trying to keep Wolf in close.
Sam De Wolf has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Wolf tries for a takedown but Song circles away easily and Song counters with a takedown into side control. Song tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Song thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Song goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Wolf has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Song but great work by Wolf. Wolf is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Song will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wolf stands up and beckons Song to his feet. This has been an exciting period of action! Wolf clinches. Wolf is trying to control the position but Song postures up. Song passes into half guard. Song is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Song is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Song is breathing heavily. Wolf tries to roll over but Song keeps him under control. Wolf might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Song throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Wolf to regain full guard. Song pushing down on Wolf's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Wolf keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Wolf is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Song's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Song's back! Song staying busy and making it hard for Wolf to control. Song breaks Wolf's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Wolf tries to land a sweep but no joy. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Wolf keeping moving, preventing Song from controlling successfully. Sam De Wolf overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Song prevents Wolf from getting back to his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Song throws an elbow that misses. Wolf uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Song's guard. Nice move by Wolf! Song keeping moving, preventing Wolf from controlling successfully. That was a close second round but I would say that Sam De Wolf will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Sam De Wolf. Wolf shoots for a takedown but Song saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Wolf closes the distance but Song moves to the side and Song counters with a single leg into guard. Wolf didn't expect that. Wolf is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Wolf keeping moving, preventing Song from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wolf pushes Song off and gets back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wolf darts in trying to clinch and Song counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Wolf! Song looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Wolf is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Song looking to control and managing it successfully. Wolf tries to reverse the position but Song maintains control. Song breaks from Wolf's wrist control and lands an elbow. Wolf is trying desperately to improve position. Song is landing with some decent strikes but Wolf is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Wolf is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Wolf is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Song has control of Wolf's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Wolf regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Song looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Kang Ho Song has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Song takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Song working for a guillotine from mount but Wolf is in no mood to give up.
And that's the end of the fight! Kang Ho Song comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Wolf has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
