Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scott Nash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igvar Andersson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Scott Nash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Igvar Andersson! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nash shoots in but Andersson avoids the takedown attempt easily. Nash tries to clinch but Andersson moves out of range. Andersson rushes Nash and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Andersson has had enough of the clinch but Nash keeps him there for the moment. Andersson manages to break the clinch.
Andersson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Andersson clinches with his opponent.
Still in the clinch, Andersson scores with a nice short uppercut. Nash has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Andersson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Nash is working for takedown but Andersson is calmly controlling the position for now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Scott Nash. That's going to take a lot out of him. Andersson wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Nash has him pressed against the cage. Andersson with a knee to the head.
Nash breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Nice takedown defense from Andersson. No joy for Nash on that attempt. Nash fails to land the takedown. Nash tries to clinch but fails miserably and Andersson counters with a series of strikes. Nash will be more careful next time no doubt.
Nash is rocked! Andersson scores a takedown into full mount! Oh Nash is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Andersson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nash seems to have got his legs back now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nash tries to reverse the position but Andersson maintains control. Nash is working hard here to advance position. Nash swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Nash tries to get back to half guard but can't. Andersson controlling from mount. Nash is looking to get to half guard. Nash is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Andersson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Nash gets back to half guard. Nash throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
It looks like Andersson is going to stand back up.
Nash moves into full guard.
Nash has a closed guard, preventing Andersson from standing up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nash working for a triangle but Andersson defends it easily.

Andersson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Andersson won't allow Nash to get back to his feet. Andersson stands and steps away. Nash gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Andersson tries to clinch up. Andersson throws a series of punches but Nash avoids them all with ease. Nash clinches but Andersson breaks the clinch and Nash takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Nash takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Nash tries to clinch up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Igvar Andersson dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Nash is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Nash wants to clinch and Andersson moves into the clinch. A shot in the inside from Andersson. Nash misses with a punch on the inside.
Andersson lands a shoulder strike. Andersson is pressed up against the cage. Nash has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Andersson down to the mat. Andersson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Nash doesn't manage to clinch there - Andersson circles away.
Andersson feints and as Nash raises his hands in defense, Andersson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Nash trying to keep a closed guard but Andersson is proving a slippery customer.
Nash escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Andersson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Nash doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Nash is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nash tries to pass the half guard into mount. Andersson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Andersson kicks off Nash and gets to his feet. Andersson misses with a few strikes there.
Andersson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Nash is looking for a sweep. Andersson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Nash lands with a few short shots to the body. Nash looking for submissions off his back. Nash makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Nash.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nash looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nash looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Andersson swats away the attempt to clinch by Nash. Andersson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Nash, pushing him back against the cage. Andersson tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Andersson forces Nash back against the cage and clinches. A short right from Andersson. Nash using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Andersson has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Andersson tries to clinch up but Nash circles away and keeps his distance. Nash tries to close the distance and clinch but Andersson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Andersson keeps the fight on the outside. Nash tries to clinch up but Andersson circles away and keeps his distance. Andersson rushes Nash and presses him up against the cage. Andersson tries to pull guard but Nash holds him up against the cage and eventually Andersson drops back down to his feet.
Nash breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Nash works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Andersson fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Nash on the side of the head. Nash throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Nash wants to clinch but Andersson slips to the side and Andersson counters with a straight right hand. Nash moves in looking to clinch but Andersson pushes him off. Nash tries to close the distance and clinch up but Andersson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Andersson clinches with his opponent.
Nash lands a hook to the side of the head. Nash can't break the clinch.

Igvar Andersson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Nash is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Andersson is trying to maintain the position but Nash is very close to passing his half guard. Andersson keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Andersson has hold of Nash's hands but Nash slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Andersson pushes Nash off looking to stand but Nash dives back in and keeps control.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Andersson stuffs the takedown attempt from Nash. Nash gets slowly back to his feet. Nash slips a jab and a cross from Andersson.
Nash darts in trying to clinch and Andersson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Andersson. Scott Nash has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Nash tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Andersson goes for a takedown attempt but Nash pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

And that's the end of the fight! Scott Nash showed his dominance in that final round. Well Andersson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
