Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jay Colmen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guy Downs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
34 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jay Colmen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
29 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Guy Downs! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Jeff Smith and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Downs shoots and misses and Colmen counters with a takedown into side control. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Downs is looking to reverse the position. Colmen scores with a couple of short elbows. Downs is trying to get back to half guard. Colmen throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Colmen tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Colmen lands an elbow. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Downs is trying to control Colmen's posture but Colmen avoids it. Downs manages to get back to half guard. Colmen working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Downs tries to roll over but Colmen keeps him under control. Colmen winds up and cracks Downs with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Colmen looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Downs looking for submissions off his back. Colmen working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Downs looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Colmen scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Downs looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Downs makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Downs.

Downs is trying to control the position but Colmen postures up. Colmen is in close to Downs's body, working some short punches and elbows. Colmen trying to control but Downs is working from the bottom. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Colmen throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Downs had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Colmen defends it easily. Colmen scoring with some ground and pound. Colmen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Downs is tightening it up a little... Colmen has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Colmen reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Colmen taps out! Nice BJJ there by Downs!
