The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivanov connects with a nice looking jab.
Ivanov tries to land a front kick but Butcher steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Butcher moves out of range of the leg kick from Ivanov.
Ivanov tries a head kick but it misses.

Butcher keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Butcher fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Butcher ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ivanov moves away.
Ivanov tries to clinch there but Butcher circles away.
Butcher fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Ivanov on the side of the head.
Butcher throws a left and a right that both miss
and Ivanov counters with a nice kick to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Ivanov misses with a hook. Butcher ducked under it nicely.

Butcher drops Ivanov with a beautiful combination! Ivanov stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Butcher is looking for the KO!

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Ivanov.
Butcher lands a nice uppercut.
Butcher creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Ivanov's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Ivanov drops to his knees and Butcher pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

A relieved looking Percival Butcher thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
