Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ace Darko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heimo Hulahula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darko kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Black Keys - Breaks. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Josh West and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hulahula is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Darko.
Darko throws a sloppy body shot
and Hulahula counters with a nice uppercut.
Hulahula is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Darko takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Darko has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hulahula avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Hulahula shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Darko sprawls well. Darko wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hulahula gets slowly back to his feet.
Ace Darko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Heimo Hulahula.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Darko takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Darko gets control of Hulahula's arms and successfully pulls guard. Darko will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
