The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luccas lands a lovely overhand right.
Luccas's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Donaldson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Luccas scrambles back to his feet.
Leo Luccas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Luccas throws a series of punches but Donaldson avoids them all with ease.
Luccas throws a combination. Donaldson tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Donaldson tries to land a front kick but Luccas steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Luccas ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Luccas will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A head kick misses from Donaldson.
Luccas scores with the left hand. Donaldson knows he should have avoided that one.

and Donaldson counters with a crisp one two that drops Luccas! Donaldson thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Luccas to his feet! Luccas is in big trouble!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Donaldson scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Luccas is aggressively charging in as Donaldson backs up avoiding any damage. Donaldson tosses out a jab and Luccas runs right into it face first! Luccas is out cold! Donaldson dropped down on all fours and is barking in Luccas's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
