Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Espinosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DaMarcus Saint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Espinosa comes to the cage accompanied by It was Jesus by Johnny Cash. Saint is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bobby Womack - Across 110th Street. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jesus Espinosa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, DaMarcus Saint!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksandr Martynov and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saint throws a low kick but Espinosa moves out of range easily.
Saint walks into a jab.
Saint throws a shot from downtown. Espinosa moves away and avoids it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Saint. Espinosa does a little dance to reset his feet.
Saint throws a head kick that half lands.
Saint lands a jab.
Espinosa shoots in but Saint avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Saint tries to close the distance and clinch up but Espinosa swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Saint walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Espinosa throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Espinosa closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Espinosa swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Espinosa fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Espinosa changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Saint tries to avoid it but Espinosa manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Saint to the ground. Saint escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Saint stuffs the takedown attempt from Espinosa. Espinosa gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jesus Espinosa. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Espinosa uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Saint.
Saint turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Saint lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Horrible takedown by Espinosa or perhaps it was just good defense by Saint which made him look bad.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Saint can do anything to dispel that myth.

Espinosa is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Saint has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Saint!
Saint really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Espinosa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Espinosa seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
