The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Taylor shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Taylor was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Corpia is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Corpia tries to control Taylor's body but Taylor pushes him off. Corpia squirms to his side and now Taylor has his back!
Corpia has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Taylor.
You can see the frustration on Corpia's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Taylor has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Taylor has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Corpia is in real trouble here. Taylor gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Corpia is tapping out! Taylor wins by rear naked choke!
