Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vbahi Lass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Douglas Dcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vbahi Lass! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Douglas Dcher! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Thiago Cunha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dcher rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lass moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Lass scores with the left hand. Dcher knows he should have avoided that one. Lass tries to keep at a distance but Dcher has taken the fight into the clinch. Lass gets control of Dcher's arms and successfully pulls guard. Lass will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Dcher gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Lass digs a good body shot into Dcher's ribs. Dcher takes the fight into the clinch. Dcher drags the fight down to the ground.
Dcher looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lass is one step ahead there. Lass wants to stand but Dcher has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Lass being controlled here momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lass wants to stand but Dcher is controlling his posture from full guard. Lass missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Lass stopping the sweep attempt from Dcher. Lass being controlled here momentarily. Dcher should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Lass tries to free his leg and advance position but Dcher is retaining full guard. Lass will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Dcher scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dcher stands up. Lass fails to land with a series of punches.
Lass throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Dcher misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dcher throws a wild body kick that Lass sees coming a mile off. Dcher drives through with a takedown into Lass's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dcher pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lass is keeping the position for now. Dcher looks winded! Dcher drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lass manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dcher has Lass in his guard. Dcher is trying to control the position but Lass postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dcher is controlling Lass's posture. Lass tries to stand but Dcher is controlling from the bottom. Dcher keeping moving, preventing Lass from controlling successfully. Dcher looking to control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Dcher trying to strike off his back.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Douglas Dcher. Good leg kick by Lass there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Lass throws a leg kick which misses Dcher's front leg but catches the back leg as Dcher tries to avoid it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lass lands a high kick!

Dcher takes a jab right on the kisser.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lass connects with a body shot. Lass scores with a nice head shot. Lass scores with the left hand. Dcher knows he should have avoided that one. Lass jabs Dcher right on the nose. Dcher blinks but takes it well. Lass lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Dcher at a distance.

Vbahi Lass is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lass swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dcher. Lass tries to bum rush Dcher with a series of wild strikes but Dcher uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Lass throws a nice looking combination but Dcher bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vbahi Lass dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Lass connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Dcher has eaten all the pies! Lass lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Lass connects with a looping right hand.
Lass connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Lass swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dcher takes a kick to the side of the head. Dcher shoots in for a takedown and gets it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dcher is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lass is just riding it out for now. Dcher eventually gives up the hold. Lass punching from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dcher passes the guard and advances to mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dcher stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Vbahi Lass is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Dcher is breathing heavily. Dcher drives through with a takedown into Lass's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Dcher stands up from Lass's guard - Dcher perhaps looking for a knockout. Dcher misses with a head kick.
Lass lands with a kick to the temple. Dcher shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Lass is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lass lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Dcher backs up against the cage.
Dcher has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lass finds it's way round the side to connect with Dcher's head. Lass fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Dcher. Lass moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Lass throws a one two combo.
Lass throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Dcher takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Lass tries to bum rush Dcher with a series of wild strikes but Dcher uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Lass is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Lass will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dcher misses with a head kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lass connects with a leg kick. Dcher looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Lass throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Lass scores with a jab. Dcher acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Dcher has taken the fight to the clinch.
Dcher manages to break the clinch.
Lass swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lass tries to sprawl but Dcher drives through with a takedown into half guard. Lass wants to control the action here but instead Dcher manages to pass to full mount! Dcher avoids the attempt from Lass to control. Lass keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Lass wants to hold on but Dcher pushes him away. Douglas Dcher has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dcher get's back to his feet. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dcher drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lass is looking for a sweep. Dcher is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Lass knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Dcher decides to take the fight back to the feet. Vbahi Lass is winning the standup battle so far. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Dcher on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Vbahi Lass will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Dcher clinches up with Lass and pushes him back against the cage. Dcher breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lass lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Lass throws a series of punches but Dcher avoids them all with ease. Dcher fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Lass to the ground. Dcher is now in Lass's guard. Dcher stands up from Lass's guard - Dcher perhaps looking for a knockout. Dcher closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dcher lands in his opponent's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lass is trying to control the position but Dcher postures up. Dcher wants to pass the guard but Lass is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lass will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Dcher gets to his feet. Lass looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Jab, jab by Lass - just one landing. Dcher instigates a clinch. Dcher successfully pulls guard.
Dcher is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Lass trying to control the position from guard on top but Dcher is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dcher is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lass trying to stand up but can't free himself from Dcher's guard. Lass passes easily into side control. Nice work. Dcher is trying to improve his position. Lass thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Dcher can't do much from the bottom here. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dcher is looking for a sweep.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lass wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dcher keeps working. Lass decides to take the fight back to the feet. Lass cracks Dcher with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Dcher closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Lass wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Dcher pulls guard effortlessly. Lass throws a big right hand that misses. Dcher looking for a sweep. Not yet Dcher, not yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dcher is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Dcher is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lass defends well. Lass wants to control from the top but Dcher keeps moving. Lass postures up in Dcher's guard and throws a big left but Dcher blocks it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lass trying to control but Dcher is working from the bottom. Lass wants to stand but Dcher is controlling his posture from full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Douglas Dcher comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Lass has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
