Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andriy Pakusteleyev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Andriy Pakusteleyev has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Andriy Pakusteleyev seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andriy Pakusteleyev! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Andrew Anderson! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Fedor Mirinova and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Anderson, as that shot connected.
It looks like Andriy Pakusteleyev has been cut. Anderson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pakusteleyev. Pakusteleyev swinging wildly here.
Anderson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pakusteleyev swivels and escapes. Pakusteleyev could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Anderson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pakusteleyev circles away quickly and effectively. Pakusteleyev shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Anderson but Anderson pushes him off and we're back to square one. Pakusteleyev stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pakusteleyev wants it to stay on the feet. Pakusteleyev clinches up with Anderson and pushes him back against the cage. Pakusteleyev is looking to take this one to the mat. A frustrated look appears on Anderson's face as he tries to break the clinch. Pakusteleyev escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Anderson throws a right and a left that Pakusteleyev avoids nicely. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pakusteleyev slips under a jab from Anderson. Anderson throws a right and a left that Pakusteleyev avoids nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pakusteleyev displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Anderson throws out the jab. Anderson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Anderson walks into a stiff left hand from Pakusteleyev. Anderson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pakusteleyev circles away. Andriy Pakusteleyev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Anderson. Pakusteleyev is trying hard to land a takedown here. Anderson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Anderson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pakusteleyev. Nice takedown defense from Anderson. No joy for Pakusteleyev on that attempt. Pakusteleyev is breathing heavily. Anderson throws a right and a left that Pakusteleyev avoids nicely. Anderson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Andrew Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Anderson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pakusteleyev. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A looping hook to the body misses from Anderson. Pakusteleyev does a little dance to reset his feet. Anderson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pakusteleyev moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Anderson leaves Pakusteleyev with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Anderson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anderson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Pakusteleyev walks straight into a right hand from Anderson - that's dropped him! Anderson jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Pakusteleyev from any more punishment! Pakusteleyev complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Andrew Anderson!
