Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Demaj Jacare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Fadden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Demaj Jacare could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to John Fadden's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Demaj Jacare! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Fadden! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jacare shoots for a double leg takedown but Fadden sprawls well. He's pushed Jacare's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Fadden gets the takedown into side control. Fadden is looking to take a break and control but Jacare is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Fadden throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Fadden wants to stand but Jacare is controlling his arm. Fadden wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jacare, who protects the arm well. Fadden wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jacare keeps working. Fadden might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jacare kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Jacare gets back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fadden is looking to advance position but Jacare won't allow it. Jacare blocking the ground and pound attempt from Fadden. Jacare is holding on to half guard well. Jacare manages to get to full guard.
Jacare looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fadden is one step ahead there. Fadden pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jacare is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Fadden landing some decent shots from guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fadden stands up from guard. Let's bang! Some wild striking there from Jacare.
Jacare scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Fadden looks gassed! Jacare throws a head kick but Fadden moves out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fadden shoots in looking for a takedown. Jacare tries to sprawl out of it but Fadden keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jacare manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jacare has taken the fight to the clinch.
Jacare controlling the action here for a moment.
Jacare scores with an uppercut up the middle. Jacare scores with a knee to the head.
Fadden tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jacare just stands there and leans against the cage. Jacare with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Jacare. Fadden goes for a takedown in the clinch but Jacare prevents it.
Demaj Jacare has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Fadden. A short right from Jacare. Jacare scores with a shot to the side of Fadden's head. Jacare just leaning against Fadden, taking a breather.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jacare softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Jacare lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Fadden looking for a takedown. Jacare scores with an uppercut up the middle. Fadden takes a knee right on the jaw!

Jacare lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Jacare creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. A hook to the body from Jacare.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Demaj Jacare dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Fadden moves out of range as Jacare throws a body kick.
Fadden doesn't succeed with the takedown and Jacare counters with a takedown into side control.
Fadden is rocked! The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Fadden tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Jacare easily slips into full mount! Jacare controlling from the full mount. Fadden flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fadden tries to reverse the position but Jacare maintains control. Jacare unloading with bombs!
That's one minute gone in the round. Fadden looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Jacare wants to control but Fadden is keeping busy. Jacare struggling to land strikes to the head as Fadden covers up. Jacare struggling to keep hold of the position.
Jacare is not going to allow Fadden to sit and survive in this position. A lull in the action here.
Jacare looking for the choke but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jacare lands a punch to the side of the head from the back. Jacare trying to control. Jacare is hanging on to Fadden's back as he tries to escape.
Jacare looking for the choke from the back. Jacare struggling to land strikes to the head as Fadden covers up. I really don't envy Fadden right now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fadden is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Jacare not allowing Fadden to control his hands. Jacare misses with an elbow to the head. What can Fadden do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Jacare thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. Jacare trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Fadden rolls, trying to escape but Jacare keeps control of the position.
Will Jacare go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Jacare lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Jacare.
Jacare lands a shot to the head. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Jacare's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fadden is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Demaj Jacare dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Jacare has his takedown stuffed and Fadden counters with a single leg into guard. Jacare didn't expect that. Fadden trying to control but Jacare is working from the bottom. Fadden thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Jacare keeping moving, preventing Fadden from controlling successfully. Jacare looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jacare trying to keep a closed guard but Fadden is proving a slippery customer.
Fadden wants to pass the guard but Jacare is keeping the position. Fadden trying to control but Jacare is working from the bottom.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Fadden gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. An inside leg kick lands from Jacare. Fadden looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Jacare looks for a takedown but Fadden sprawls well. Jacare lands a nice looking body kick. Fadden decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Fadden is tying to control. Jacare wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Fadden content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Fadden working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Jacare is looking for a sweep. Fadden is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fadden is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Jacare is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Jacare is trying to hold Fadden in close to prevent damage but Fadden has managed to pass into half guard.
Jacare wants to control but Fadden is keeping busy.
Fadden is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jacare defends it well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fadden wants to pass to mount but Jacare is defending the position.

Jacare is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Jacare is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Fadden's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Fadden's back! Jacare not allowing Fadden to control his hands. John Fadden has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jacare is trying to stick to Fadden's back but Fadden is turning into Jacare. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Jacare's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Fadden.
And that's the end of the fight! John Fadden comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Jacare has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
