Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Waldorf Astoria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Lunar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Astoria's entrance music is Waltz from Les Sylphides. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
33 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Waldorf Astoria! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
32 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lucas Lunar! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Astoria.
Astoria moves out of range of the strikes. Lunar wants to clinch. Astoria swings for the body but Lunar moves out of range.
Lunar gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Astoria. Astoria scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Astoria misses with a body kick. Astoria misses the shot to the body. Astoria throws out a loose jab but Lunar uses good head movement to avoid it. Astoria has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Lunar. Astoria lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Lunar pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Astoria misses with a low kick. Astoria scores with a sloppy right hand. Lunar should have avoided that one. A bone on bone clash there as Lunar blocks the leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Lunar. Astoria on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Astoria connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Lunar gets in close and instigates a clinch. Astoria softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Astoria misses with a punch to the body.
Lunar tries a body shot but Astoria blocks it.
Astoria lands a left hand that snaps the head of Lunar backwards. Lunar effectively controlling the action here. Astoria looking to throw knees to the head but Lunar is blocking nicely.
Lunar is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Astoria to keep the fight standing. Lunar lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Astoria backwards. A short right from Lunar on the inside. A left hand lands to the body for Lunar.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lunar goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A hook to the body from Lunar.
Lunar pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Lunar tries a head kick but it misses.
Waldorf Astoria is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Astoria misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lunar.
Left hook, right uppercut from Lunar. Astoria misses with a hook. Lunar ducked under it nicely. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lunar. Astoria throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Astoria pivots, looking for a leg kick but Lunar is out of range and Astoria settles back down. Astoria thuds his right hand into Lunar's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Lunar throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Waldorf Astoria has been cut. Astoria avoids the head kick by Lunar.
Astoria uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lunar.
Astoria takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Astoria is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lunar bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Oh Astoria is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Astoria is breathing heavily. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Astoria crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lunar - the referee stops the clock and Astoria gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lunar. Astoria manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lunar steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Astoria is out on his feet! Lunar sets himself and nearly takes Astoria's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Lucas Lunar!
