Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Henkka Seppala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jambo Alvez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seppala comes to the cage accompanied by Children of Bodom - Smile pretty for the devil. Jambo Alvez is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Henkka Seppala! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jambo Alvez! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Dmitry Maklakov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Seppala comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Alvez is defended easily by Seppala. Alvez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Seppala pinned against the cage. Seppala gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Seppala lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Alvez slips under a jab. Seppala looks to score with a jab to the body but Alvez is just out of range. Alvez uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Seppala. Alvez connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Alvez fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Seppala to the ground. Alvez is now in Seppala's guard. Seppala on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Seppala tries to get out of the position. Alvez controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
That's one minute gone in the round. Seppala wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Alvez manages to pass to side control. Alvez is figuring out what he wants to do next. Seppala has hold of Alvez's hands but Alvez slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Seppala is trying to control but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Seppala tries to get to full guard but Alvez has control of the leg. Alvez is taking a breather. Seppala says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Alvez trying to control the action but Seppala is working from the bottom. Alvez is controlling the pace.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Alvez trying to control from half guard but Seppala is working away.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jambo Alvez wasn't active enough on the ground. Alvez attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Alvez checks a low kick from Seppala. Alvez keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Alvez looks to score with a jab to the body but Seppala is just out of range. Alvez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Seppala's waist but Seppala gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Alvez off to one side. Henkka Seppala has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jambo Alvez. Alvez has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Seppala finds it's way round the side to connect with Alvez's head. Seppala connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Seppala misses with a wild body shot. Alvez doesn't succeed with the takedown and Seppala counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Alvez throws a front kick aimed at Seppala's knee but Seppala avoids it well. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Alvez takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like Jambo Alvez has been cut. Seppala looks to land a combination but Alvez avoids it well. Seppala just misses with a punch to the body.
Alvez takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Seppala lands an overhand right. Seppala turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Seppala showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Alvez.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Alvez shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Seppala napping and manages to drive through into side control! Alvez throwing shots but missing, from side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Henkka Seppala dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jambo Alvez's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
A lazy left from Alvez finds it's target. Alvez fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Seppala keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

and Seppala counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Seppala drops Alvez with a huge uppercut! Alvez drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Seppala is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Henkka Seppala! After winning the bout, Henkka Seppala thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
