Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between chaz peti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). peti kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Jesus Everywhere I Go. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
peti shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jackson's guard.
peti pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jackson is keeping the position for now.
Jackson wants to get back to his feet but peti is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
peti passes into half guard.
Jackson is trying to stand back up but peti is controlling him
peti tries to pass to full mount but Jackson defends it.
peti stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Jackson to get to his feet.

peti looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jackson is fending him off so far but peti persists. Nope, Jackson circles away and we're back to standing.

peti is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jackson is just riding it out for now. peti eventually gives up the hold.

peti thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Jackson to regain full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jackson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst peti is controlling him.
peti looking to sit in guard and control but Jackson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
peti closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Jackson is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

peti has gone for a leg lock! Jackson slips out almost immediately though and dives into peti's guard.

Jackson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. peti looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

peti on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if peti tries to get out of the position.
Jackson stands up and we're back to a striking position.

peti bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jackson's guard.
peti stands and steps away. Jackson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
peti drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

peti is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Jackson as he works his way to full guard.
