Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pozar Pozar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Demi Johson! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pozar rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Johson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pozar's guard. Johson throwing strikes from guard but Pozar blocks nicely. Johson prevents Pozar from getting back to his feet. Johson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Johson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Pozar is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Johson is controlling him. Pozar is breathing heavily. Pozar keeping moving, preventing Johson from controlling successfully. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Johson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Johson drops back looking for a leg! Pozar is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pozar manages to kick Johson off! Johson jumps back into Pozar's guard. Johson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pozar swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pozar keeping moving, preventing Johson from controlling successfully. Johson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Johson stops Pozar from standing up. Johson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Johson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Pozar wants to stand up but Johson is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johson stands up over Pozar, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Johson stands and steps away. Pozar gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Pozar swings widly with a right hand
and Johson counters by moving into the clinch. Johson successfully pulls guard.
Pozar really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Pozar has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Johson is proving hard to escape from. Johson has his feet on Pozar's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pozar gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Johson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Johson trying to control but Pozar is working from the bottom. Johson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Pozar is keeping the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johson stops Pozar from standing up. Johson drops back looking for a leg! Pozar is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pozar manages to kick Johson off! Johson jumps back into Pozar's guard. Pozar has his feet on Johson's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Johson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Johson thows a huge punch but Pozar dodges it nicely.
Pozar tries to kick Johson off but Johson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Johson lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Johson wants to control but Pozar is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johson seems to be looking for submissions.
Pozar kicks Johson off and gets back to his feet. Johson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Pozar's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Johson looking to pass the guard. Johson wants to control from the top but Pozar keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johson prevents Pozar from getting back to his feet. Pozar preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Johson stands and steps away. Pozar gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Pozar swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Johson gets a double leg takedown into Pozar's guard. Pozar is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Demi Johson dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and Johson counters with a series of strikes. Pozar will be more careful next time no doubt. Johson shoots in looking for a takedown but Pozar manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Johson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Pozar throws a right hand that misses
and Johson counters with a two punch combo. Pozar slaps away a takedown attempt from Johson, before circling back to the center of the mat. Pozar keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Pozar Pozar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Demi Johson. Johson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Pozar throws a lazy right hand but Johson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Johson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Johson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Pozar clobbers Johson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Pozar lands a lovely overhand right. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pozar works the jab nicely. A swing and a miss from Pozar. Johson slips under a jab from Pozar. Johson moves out of range of the strikes. Pozar Pozar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pozar looks to throw the jab but Johson is out of range. Johson clinches up with Pozar and pushes him back against the cage. Johson keeps control of Pozar as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Pozar working hard to break the clinch. Johson tries for a takedown. No joy.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Johson. Pozar moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Pozar tests Johson's chin there with a solid looking shot. and Johson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Pozar won't be happy with that. Pozar is trying to buck Johson off. Johson wants to control but Pozar is keeping him busy. Pozar is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Johson asserts his dominance and retains side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Demi Johson has got the better of the ground game so far. Johson in side control lands a decent elbow. Johson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Johson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Pozar knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Johson working the head with strikes. Pozar throws a lazy right hand but Johson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Johson. Pozar Pozar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Demi Johson. Pozar waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Johson. Demi Johson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Pozar misses with a looping right. Pozar misses with a right hand and Johson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Pozar slaps away a takedown attempt from Johson, before circling back to the center of the mat. Johson defending well as Pozar loads up on a big left hand. Johson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Pozar. Pozar defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Johson. Johson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pozar but Pozar pushes him off and we're back to square one. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Pozar throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Johson sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Johson shoots in for a takedown but Pozar shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Pozar connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Johson has a takedown stuffed. Nice defenses there by Johson. Johson ducks under a wild hook from Pozar. Pozar misses with a left hand and Johson counters with a nice body shot. Pozar throws a looping overhand right but Johson ducks down to avoid it. Pozar throws a hook but Johson blocks it. Johson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Johson showed some decent athleticism there. Pozar wants to get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Johson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Pozar sees it coming and defends easily. Johson wants to work for an arm triangle but Pozar is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Pozar wants to get back to his feet. Johson landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Pozar wants to get back to his feet.
Johson wants to take a breather but Pozar is having none of it. Pozar looks like he's trying to stand up.

Johson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pozar with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Pozar is trying to escape back to his feet but Johson uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Johson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pozar keeps working. Johson scoring with punches and elbows. Pozar taking punishment in the form of punches.
Pozar is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Johson has just dragged him back down to the mat. Johson is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Johson in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Johson postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Demi Johson is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Johson is trying to get an arm triangle but Pozar is defending well.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Demi Johson. I've got Johson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
