Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Dum Tweetle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jason Clark! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tweetle forces Clark back against the cage and clinches. Clark pulls Tweetle into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Clark keeping full guard, as Tweetle tries to pass. Tweetle looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Dum Tweetle wasn't doing enough on the ground. Tweetle is looking to clinch. Clark fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tweetle sprawls well initially but Clark persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Tweetle is trying to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tweetle moves into full guard.
Clark trying to control the position from guard on top but Tweetle is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tweetle wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Clark manages to pass to side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tweetle trying to control but Clark postures up.
Clark is trying to work for a kimura but Tweetle is defending well.
Tweetle on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tweetle tries to get out of the position. Tweetle keeps control of the position for the meantime. Tweetle manages to get to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clark won't allow Tweetle to get back to his feet. Tweetle utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Tweetle is controlling Clark's posture. Clark postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Tweetle is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Clark, into his guard. Tweetle looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Dum Tweetle. Clark shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Clark was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Clark trying to control but Tweetle is having none of it. Tweetle really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Clark thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Clark swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Tweetle is now in Clark's guard. A big mistake from Clark there, giving up the dominant position! Tweetle postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Tweetle is stalling in the full guard.
We're going to have a standup here because Dum Tweetle wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Clark scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Well, if Clark is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Tweetle knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Clark on the ground. Tweetle wants to get back to full guard.

Tweetle controlling the position well. Tweetle is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Clark is working for a kimura but Tweetle is defending it quite comfortably.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Tweetle is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Tweetle moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Tweetle looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Clark wants to control from the top but Tweetle keeps moving.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Tweetle is trying to keep Clark in close.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dum Tweetle. I think Tweetle has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
