Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yuki Nakai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiroyuki Okamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Okamoto has chosen Feel the Drive as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yuki Nakai! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiroyuki Okamoto! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Okamoto throws a leg kick which misses Nakai's front leg but catches the back leg as Nakai tries to avoid it. Okamoto tries to clinch there but Nakai circles away.
Okamoto misses with a head kick.

Nakai throws a low kick but it's checked well by Okamoto. Okamoto throws a leg kick but Nakai sees it coming and checks it nicely. Okamoto lands a nice hook to Nakai's body. Nakai takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Nakai closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Nakai controlling the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nakai looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Okamoto is trying to control but Nakai passes into side control!
Okamoto can't do much from the bottom here. Okamoto really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nakai. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Nakai trying to control the action but Okamoto is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nakai tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Okamoto looking for a sweep but Nakai has passed into full mount! Oh no! Okamoto tries to control Nakai's body but Nakai pushes him off. Okamoto squirms to his side and now Nakai has his back! Okamoto tries to break free.
Okamoto tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Okamoto working to try and regain half guard.
Nakai with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Okamoto tries to reverse the position but Nakai maintains control. Nakai controlling from the full mount. Nakai tries to control but Okamoto wriggling away. Nakai working for a guillotine from mount but Okamoto is in no mood to give up. Okamoto flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Okamoto wants to hold on but Nakai pushes him away. Nakai pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Nakai controlling his opponent. Nakai trying to control but he's not successful this time. Okamoto is controlling an arm, preventing Nakai from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Nakai wants to control the pace but Okamoto is squirming around nicely. Nakai looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Okamoto is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Nakai forces the positional change into back control. Nakai trying to control.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Nakai is hanging on to Okamoto's back as he tries to escape.
Okamoto is holding onto Nakai's left hand, preventing any choke attempts. Nakai is not going to allow Okamoto to sit and survive in this position. Nakai is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Nakai patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Nakai is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Okamoto has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. This has been an exciting period of action! Okamoto is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Nakai.

Okamoto is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Nakai is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Okamoto taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Nakai.

Post fight, Yuki Nakai stared into the camera and said 'Hey grappling is my world.... stick to K1 kid, face it this aint your sport! (Grabs the nearest camera) Now book me in the semi finals, who's gona stop me from becoming the 145 GP Champion?!'.
