Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sami Hyypia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fritzie Zivic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hyypia comes to the cage accompanied by Al Bowlly - Hang out the stars in Indiana. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 1, fighting out of London, Sami Hyypia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Fritzie Zivic! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Phil Schofield and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hyypia avoids the body shot from Zivic.
Zivic lands a nice shot that snaps Hyypia's head back.
Zivic thows a left - swing and a miss! Hyypia lands with a hook. Zivic tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
It looks like Fritzie Zivic has been cut. Zivic misses with a straight left. Zivic takes a swing at Hyypia's ribcage but misses. Hyypia throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Zivic sees it coming and avoids it easily. Zivic connects with a body shot that sends Hyypia's belly button to the back. Zivic takes a kick to the side of the head. This has been an exciting period of action! Zivic throws a jab when Hyypia was well out of range. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Hyypia!
Zivic throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Zivic tries to clinch up. Zivic lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Fritzie Zivic is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hyypia scores with a shot to the body.
Zivic lunges at Hyypia with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hyypia's hand. Zivic scores with a hook to the body. Hyypia takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Zivic lands a body shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Zivic throws a hook but Hyypia avoids it easily. Fritzie Zivic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zivic looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Hyypia misses with a jab, cross combination.
Zivic stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Zivic wants it to stay on the feet. Jab by Zivic. Zivic throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Zivic doesn't manage to clinch there - Hyypia circles away.
Hyypia throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Zivic counter with a right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zivic misses with a double jab
and Hyypia cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Hyypia looks to land a combination but Zivic avoids it well. Zivic falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hyypia counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Zivic uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hyypia. A head kick misses from Hyypia. Zivic swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Zivic lands a slapping body shot.
Hyypia shoots for a double leg takedown but Zivic sprawls well. He's pushed Hyypia's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Hyypia shoots in for a takedown but Zivic shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sami Hyypia. That's going to take a lot out of him. A big left from Hyypia misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zivic thows a body shot but no joy. A jab from Hyypia misses. Hyypia misses with a hook to the body
and Zivic counters with a nice body shot. Hyypia is breathing heavily. Hyypia on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Zivic lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Zivic cracks Hyypia with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Zivic has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Hyypia to stand back up!
Hyypia is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Zivic changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Oh Hyypia is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Zivic flashes Hyypia a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Hyypia's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Hyypia crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Zivic punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Fritzie Zivic! In his post fight interview, Fritzie Zivic started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
