Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shannon Marsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Klice Moroon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shannon Marsh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Klice Moroon! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Skip Squint and Summer Carpenter.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moroon tries to bum rush Marsh with a series of wild strikes but Marsh uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Moroon throws a left and a right that both miss
and Marsh counters by moving into the clinch.
Marsh pulls guard successfully.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Moroon wants to get up but he can't break Marsh's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Marsh seems keen to control Moroon's posture. Marsh tries to strike from the bottom.
Marsh has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Moroon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Marsh has control of Moroon's left arm, preventing Moroon from doing any damage. Marsh's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Marsh working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Moroon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Moroon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Marsh controlling Moroon's posture.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Moroon wants to get up but he can't break Marsh's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Marsh lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Moroon! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Marsh jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Moroon manages to avoid the submission attempt. Moroon being controlled for a moment.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Marsh with the ground and pound but Moroon regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Marsh in particular looking to stall.
 We're going to have a standup here because Shannon Marsh wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Moroon falls off balance throwing a combination
and Marsh moves into the clinch. Marsh drops down looking for an ankle pick but Moroon pulls his leg out and moves away.
Moroon throws a body punch but Marsh moves out of range. Shannon Marsh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Marsh shoots in but Moroon avoids the takedown attempt easily. Klice Moroon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Marsh shoots for a double leg takedown but Moroon sprawls well. He's pushed Marsh's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shannon Marsh. That's going to take a lot out of him. Marsh fails with a takedown attempt. Moroon cracks Marsh with an open hand slap. Marsh throws a head kick that misses. Moroon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Marsh was well out of range. Poor timing from Moroon. Marsh shoots in for a double leg but Moroon sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Moroon misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

 The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Marsh manages to break the clinch.
Marsh fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Moroon, pushing him back against the cage. Moroon blocks a body shot from Marsh. Moroon can't break the clinch.

Marsh escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Moroon throws a series of punches but Marsh avoids them all with ease. Marsh shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Moroon as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shannon Marsh. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice takedown defense from Moroon. No joy for Marsh on that attempt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Moroon throws a series of punches but Marsh avoids them all with ease.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Marsh is defended easily by Moroon. Horrible takedown by Marsh or perhaps it was just good defense by Moroon which made him look bad. A punch combination from Moroon misses. Moroon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Marsh circles away quickly and effectively.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Marsh fails to land the takedown. Marsh shoots for a takedown but Moroon saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A right-left combo lands from Moroon. Marsh shoots in for a takedown but Moroon shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Danga de danga de dang - Moroon scores with a four punch combination! Moroon throws a right and a left that both miss. Moroon throws a right hand that Marsh ducks under and follows up with a left that Marsh also avoids with ease. Moroon swings for the body but Marsh moves out of range.
Horrible takedown by Marsh or perhaps it was just good defense by Moroon which made him look bad.

Moroon connects with a body shot. Marsh dives in and grabs Moroon's left leg, looking for a takedown. Moroon pushes down on Marsh's head and hops out. Moroon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A head kick misses from Marsh. Marsh tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Moroon is able to avoid easily. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Klice Moroon will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Marsh tries to score a body lock takedown but Moroon shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Moroon looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Moroon is looking to break free of the clinch but Marsh has double underhooks. Marsh tries for a takedown. No joy.
Marsh prevents Moroon from breaking the clinch. Moroon is trying to force a seperation but Marsh has the dominant position. Moroon is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Moroon must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Marsh is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Moroon wants to stand but Marsh has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Moroon gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Moroon misses with a hook. Marsh ducked under it nicely. Marsh shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Moroon as he avoids it easily. Marsh drops his hands momentarily and Moroon takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Marsh is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Moroon scores with a body shot.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Klice Moroon. I think Moroon has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
