Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Salheb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Rod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rod has chosen Young Jeezy-Lose My Mind as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rob Rod!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Matheus Silva and Luis Engracia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salheb tries for a takedown but Rod sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Salheb tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rod fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Salheb on the side of the head.
Rod looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Rod fails to land with a series of punches.
Rod defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Salheb.
Rod throws a shot to the body.
Rod avoids a kick to the body.
Rod feints with a jab and clips Salheb right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Salheb is sent crashing into the canvas and Rod leaps in for the kill! Salheb tries to get to his feet but Rod is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Salheb is in need of a savior and steps in!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rob Rod!
Rob Rod spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
