The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown lands with a nice body punch.
Sovreign looks gassed!
Brown throws a jab when Sovreign was well out of range.
Sovreign takes one to the side of the head.
Sovreign steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Brown.
Sovreign avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Sovreign throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brown's waist but Brown gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sovreign off to one side.
Oh, that's a big right hand from Brown and Sovreign goes tumbling to the canvas! Brown follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Sovreign is rocked!

It looks like Johnny Sovreign has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brown wants to get back to his feet.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
It looks like Brown is going to stand back up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Brown throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sovreign sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Sovreign takes one to the chin there.

Brown keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Sovreign walks straight into a right hand from Brown - that's dropped him! Brown jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Sovreign from any more punishment! Sovreign complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
