Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big T (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Dangle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). T comes to the cage accompanied by Hip Hop!. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Big T! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jim Dangle! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! T connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Dangle to the floor! T dives in looking for the finish! Dangle tries to roll over but T keeps him under control. Dangle wants to control but T is keeping busy and won't allow it. Dangle tries to roll over but T keeps him under control. T wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dangle keeps working. T blocks the strikes from Dangle.
Dangle has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Dangle regains full guard. Nicely done. Dangle is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Dangle thowing shots but they're missing. Dangle misses with a head shot. Dangle is landing with some decent strikes but T is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Dangle thowing shots but they're missing. Dangle looking to finish T with some ground and pound. This is bad for T!

Dangle trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. T working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dangle. Dangle throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as T works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Dangle throws a big right hand that misses. Dangle throwing strikes from guard but T blocks nicely. Dangle pushes down on T's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Dangle takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
T tries a head kick but it misses.
Dangle moves out of range as T strikes. T with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
T takes a swing at Dangle's ribcage but misses. T does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. T tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dangle paws at him with a jab and circles away. T tries a head kick but it misses.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. T tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Dangle blocks a head kick by T.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dangle keeps the fight on the outside. Dangle gets the takedown into side control. T is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Dangle asserts his dominance and retains side control. Dangle misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Dangle closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Dangle tries to move to mount but T blocks the move with his legs. Check out the look on Dangle's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Dangle jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… T is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by T and Dangle has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Dangle creates some space and throws a big elbow, but T sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Dangle takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Dangle throws a strike aimed at the side of T's head but T avoids it well. Dangle scoring with punches from side control. Dangle sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but T is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

T throws a sloppy head kick and Dangle counters with a shoot takedown. T fights it but they end up in guard. Dangle wants to control from the top but T keeps moving. Dangle is looking to work some ground and pound but T has wrist control. Dangle stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. T swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dangle throws a strike but T rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Dangle is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's one minute gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dangle in particular looking to stall. T regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Dangle. Dangle missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. T working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dangle. Dangle thows a big elbow that misses. Dangle trying to control but T is working from the bottom. Dangle postures up in T's guard and throws a big left but T blocks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Dangle postures up and lands a big shot to T's brow. Dangle drops back, looking for a kneebar! T looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. T looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from T! Dangle can't do much from the bottom here. Dangle gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dangle is pressing down on T's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Jim Dangle has got the better of the ground game so far. Dangle had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. T is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Dangle Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take T's back instead. Dangle is absolutely dripping with sweat - he looks exhausted. A lull in the action here.
T wants to control his opponent's hands but Dangle gets his hands free.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Dangle looking to break T's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. T remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Dangle will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Dangle looking for the rear naked choke. And he's got it! T taps!
