Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Santiago Colon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brayden Stock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Santiago Colon! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brayden Stock! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed right hand from Colon misses the target. Colon sizes up Stock with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Colon misses the shot to the body. Colon looks to score with a jab to the body but Stock is just out of range. Stock pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Colon gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Stock to score an easy takedown into full guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Colon has control of Stock's left arm, preventing Stock from doing any damage. Colon working a defensive guard here.
Colon managing to control the position. Colon keeping full guard, as Stock tries to pass. Colon on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Colon tries to get out of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Colon wants to sweep here but Stock controlling him for the moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Santiago Colon wasn't doing enough on the ground. Colon smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Stock misses with a body shot.
Colon lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Stock at a distance.
Colon looks to score with a jab to the body but Stock is just out of range. Stock misses with a hook. Colon ducked under it nicely. Brayden Stock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stock misses the jab. Stock rushes Colon and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Stock pushes off an throws an elbow but Colon leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Colon lands a nice uppercut. Colon misses with a punch to the body.
Stock can't find room to land a body shot as Colon controls the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Colon prevents the takedown attempt.
Stock breaks the clinch.
Stock shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. A clash of legs there as Stock blocks the low kick. Both fighters circling a little - Colon finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Colon chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Colon bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Colon connects with a leg kick. Stock looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Stock takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Stock throws an off balance right hand
and Colon counters with a left and a right that stings Stock. Colon is looking to slow Stock down with leg kicks. Stock looks winded! Stock takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. A looping hook to the body misses from Colon. Stock does a little dance to reset his feet. Colon lands a jab to Stock's midsection. Colon bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Colon rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stock moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stock tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Colon was well out of range. Poor timing from Stock. Stock shoots in but Colon avoids the takedown attempt easily. Santiago Colon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brayden Stock. Colon lands with a straight right. Stock didn't see that one coming. Colon misses with a body kick. Colon lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Stock at a distance.

Stock gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Colon. Stock tries to close the distance and clinch up but Colon swats him away and circles back towards the center. An inside leg kick from Stock misses. Colon tries to land a leg kick but Stock saw it coming and moves away.
Stock takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Colon is looking to wear down Stock with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Stock shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Colon pinned against the cage. Colon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. A nice leg kick lands there from Colon.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stock walks into a left hand. Stock uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Colon. Colon lands a nice hook to Stock's body. Stock takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Stock is defended easily by Colon. Colon getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
It looks like Brayden Stock has been cut. Stock tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Stock closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Stock lands in his opponent's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Colon is adopting a defensive guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Santiago Colon dominated that round. The cut man is working on Brayden Stock's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Colon avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Stock ducks under a wild hook from Colon. Colon cracks a nice hook into Stock's ribs. Stock will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Stock takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Some bone on bone action there as Colon checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Stock misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Colon keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Stock tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Colon was well out of range. Poor timing from Stock. Colon scores with a sloppy right hand. Stock should have avoided that one. Colon keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Stock takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stock closes the distance and clinches up with Colon, looking for a takedown. Stock pushes Colon against the cage but Colon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Santiago Colon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brayden Stock. Stock shoots in looking for a takedown but Colon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stock's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. A jab lands there for Colon. Colon connects with a nice looking jab.
Stock uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Colon. Colon connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Stock feints and as Colon raises his hands in defense, Stock changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stock is breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! There's a bit of a scramble here and now Colon is on top in guard.
Stock keeping full guard, as Colon tries to pass. Colon stands up from Stock's guard - Colon perhaps looking for a knockout. Colon stuffs the takedown attempt from Stock. Stock gets slowly back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stock looks for a takedown but Colon sprawls well. Colon tries a low kick but Stock avoids it. Colon misses with a looping right. Santiago Colon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Colon lands a slapping body shot.

Colon closes the distance and lands a one-two. A jab from Colon does it's job there. Stock shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Colon manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Colon keeping moving, preventing Stock from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Colon is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Colon is trying to control. Stock wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Stock is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Colon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stock keeps working. Stock is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Colon's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Colon's back! Stock wants to control the position but Colon frees himself and scrambles - Stock manages to regain control in side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Colon tries to improve position but can't. Brayden Stock has got the better of the ground game so far. You can see the frustration on Colon's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Colon is not content to let Stock control the position. Stock throwing strikes but missing, from side control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Colon wants to control but Stock postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Santiago Colon dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Brayden Stock's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Stock is looking to chop away at Colon's legs. Nice sprawl there from Colon as Stock shoots in. Colon takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Stock gets cracked there but stands up to it.

That has opened up Brayden Stock's cut even more. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Colon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Stock. Stock doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. A good leg kick by Colon. Colon is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Stock can do to turn this around? Stock missing with a left hand there. Colon was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Stock takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Colon moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Stock is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice defenses there by Colon. Colon lands a nice looking body shot.

Stock is still on wobbly legs! Can Colon finish him? Colon closes the distance and clinches. Stock is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Colon throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Stocks head. Colon digs a right hand into Stock's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Stock's gas tank. A body shot lands from Colon.
Colon pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Colon lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Stock out cold! Stock is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Santiago Colon! Santiago Colon retains his middleweight title! Our winner, Santiago Colon, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
