And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bin Laden misses with a hook.
Adolf Bin Laden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bin Laden connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Zhukov's hands.
It looks like Ivan Zhukov has been cut.
Zhukov ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Bin Laden cracks the inside of Zhukov's front leg.
A good leg kick by Zhukov.
Bin Laden is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Zhukov.
Zhukov tries to close the distance and clinch but Bin Laden swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bin Laden throws a series of punches but Zhukov moves out of range.
Zhukov fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bin Laden.

and Zhukov holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Zhukov lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Bin Laden backwards.
Zhukov struggles to land a body shot inside as Bin Laden controls his hands.

Bin Laden has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Zhukov finds it's way round the side to connect with Bin Laden's head.

and Bin Laden counters with a right hand to the body.
Bin Laden throws a hook but Zhukov blocks it.
Bin Laden thows a left - swing and a miss!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bin Laden takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Zhukov ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Zhukov thumps Bin Laden with a low kick.
Zhukov scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Bin Laden on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Zhukov. Zhukov obviously looking to wear him down.
A head kick from Zhukov lands but Bin Laden takes it in his stride.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Zhukov tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bin Laden paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Zhukov throws a head kick that half lands.
Bin Laden sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Zhukov drops Bin Laden with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Bin Laden looks back up at him and smiles so Zhukov waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Bin Laden is rocked!
Zhukov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Oh Bin Laden is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Zhukov is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Jab, jab by Zhukov - just one landing.
Zhukov keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Zhukov stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Bin Laden looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Bin Laden throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bin Laden seems to have got his legs back now.
Bin Laden moves forwards but Zhukov connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Zhukov cracks the inside of Bin Laden's front leg.
Zhukov thuds his right hand into Bin Laden's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Zhukov feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Bin Laden sprawling to the canvas! Bin Laden rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Zhukov finish him?!
Zhukov finds Bin Laden's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Bin Laden flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Zhukov lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Bin Laden will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ivan Zhukov!
