The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A lazy left from Givens finds it's target.
Sanchez throws a sloppy head kick
and Givens counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Sanchez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sanchez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Givens swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sanchez's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Givens connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Sanchez scrambles back to his feet.
Sanchez takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Sanchez has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Sanchez there as he acknowledges the shot.
Sanchez shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Givens counters with a series of strikes. Sanchez will be more careful next time no doubt.
