Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mukassa Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chodor Eriemilyanenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mukassa Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chodor Eriemilyanenko! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Reed Andrews and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eriemilyanenko fails in his attempt to clinch. Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Eriemilyanenko pushes Jones up against the cage in a clinch. Jones misses with a hook to the ribs.
Jones swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Eriemilyanenko is trying to stall.
Jones on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Jones breaks from the clinch.
Eriemilyanenko throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jones. Jones takes a swing at Eriemilyanenko's ribcage but misses. Eriemilyanenko tries to clinch but Jones moves out of range. Jones's jab looks to have found its range, popping Eriemilyanenko under the eye.
It looks like Chodor Eriemilyanenko has been cut. Jones looks to land a left hand but Eriemilyanenko moved out of range nicely. Eriemilyanenko swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Jones to counter with a crisp jab. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Eriemilyanenko tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Eriemilyanenko shoots in looking for a takedown. Jones tries to sprawl out of it but Eriemilyanenko keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jones manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jones fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Eriemilyanenko, pushing him back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones lands a left hand that snaps the head of Eriemilyanenko backwards. Jones escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Eriemilyanenko staying out of range there. Eriemilyanenko misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Eriemilyanenko takes the fight into the clinch. Jones tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Jones tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Jones stalling the fight.
Eriemilyanenko has clasped his hands together around Jones's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Eriemilyanenko stands up and we're back to a striking position. Jones closes the distance and clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones breaks the clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action! Jones shoots in and gets a takedown into Eriemilyanenko's guard. Jones postures up in Eriemilyanenko's guard and throws a big left but Eriemilyanenko blocks it. Jones seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Eriemilyanenko pushes Jones off and scrambles back to his feet.
Eriemilyanenko tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance. Jones misses with a wild body shot. Jones slips under a jab from Eriemilyanenko. Jones misses with a few strikes there.
Eriemilyanenko tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away. The fighters circle momentarily. Jones darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Eriemilyanenko tries to clinch but Jones moves out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eriemilyanenko fails to land with a series of punches.
Jones thuds a left hand into Eriemilyanenko's body. Eriemilyanenko misses with a takedown attempt - Jones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jones closes this distance looking for a takedown but Eriemilyanenko circles away. Jones connects with a single shot there. Jones throws a leg kick and Eriemilyanenko counters with a takedown into side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jones throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! A slow jab from Jones misses its intended target. Jones tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Eriemilyanenko was well out of range. Poor timing from Jones. Jones gets tackled into the cage by Eriemilyanenko. Eriemilyanenko maintains the clinch. Eriemilyanenko wants to get back to striking at distance but Jones won't allow it.
Jones breaks the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Eriemilyanenko wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jones has him pressed against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Eriemilyanenko's face as he tries to break the clinch. A short body shot lands from Jones as the two fighters clinch.
Eriemilyanenko looks winded! Eriemilyanenko tries for a takedown. No joy.
Mukassa Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chodor Eriemilyanenko. Eriemilyanenko gets control of Jones's arms and successfully pulls guard. Eriemilyanenko will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Jones controls from within his opponent's guard. Eriemilyanenko keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully. Jones pushing down on Eriemilyanenko's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jones is working for a submission of some sort.
Jones is trying to work for a kimura but Eriemilyanenko is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mukassa Jones dominated that round. The cut man is working on Chodor Eriemilyanenko's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

A jab from Jones misses. Eriemilyanenko shoots in for a double leg but Jones sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jones rushes Eriemilyanenko and presses him up against the cage. Eriemilyanenko tries to break the clinch but Jones is controlling the position. Jones lands a right hand. Jones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Eriemilyanenko tries to clinch and Jones counters with a left to the body. Eriemilyanenko fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jones is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Jones defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Eriemilyanenko. Jones lands with a big left! Eriemilyanenko is wobbled badly! Jones comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Eriemilyanenko to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
