Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miropui Laldama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Cormier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Laldama might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to You can do it - Ice Cube. Cormier comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Grafh - Knock'em Down kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Miropui Laldama could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Daniel Cormier's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Laldama tries to clinch up but Cormier circles away and keeps his distance. Laldama forces Cormier back against the cage and clinches. Laldama working Cormier over with knees to the body. Cormier looks winded! Laldama landing knees to the head.

Cormier lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Laldama is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Cormier is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Laldama is really struggling to control Cormier but he's trying to hold on to the position. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Cormier is trying to stand back up. Laldama gets his hands free as Cormier looks to control. Laldama is looking to control Cormier but Cormier is wriggling around and keeping busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cormier tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Cormier wants to hold on but Laldama pushes him away. Daniel Cormier has got the better of the ground game so far. Cormier is desperately trying to improve his position but Laldama has a good base and remains in mount. Cormier is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Laldama is looking to stand but Laldama has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
