Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Michael Benoit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heero Yuy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benoit comes to the cage accompanied by Praise. Yuy has chosen Coma Black - Marilyn Manson as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yuy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Benoit circles away quickly and effectively.
Yuy throws a combination that misses
and Benoit counters with a nice body shot.
Yuy looks to score with a jab to the body but Benoit is just out of range.
Yuy misses with a double jab.
Benoit darts in and clinches Yuy up against the cage.

Benoit lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Yuy backwards.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yuy misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Yuy throws a right hand that Benoit ducks under and follows up with a left that Benoit also avoids with ease.

Benoit scores with a jab. Yuy acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
It looks like Heero Yuy has been cut.
Yuy misses with a double jab.
Yuy walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Yuy misses with a looping left.
Yuy misses with a lunging right hand
and Benoit connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Yuy is rocked!
Heero Yuy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Benoit sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Yuy's defenses. It connects perfectly with Yuy's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
