Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whitehead looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Shamrock has eaten all the pies!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Shamrock is defended easily by Whitehead.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Shamrock.

Shamrock closes the distance and pushes Whitehead back into the cage.
Shamrock tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Whitehead just stands there and leans against the cage.
Mike Whitehead has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kenneth Shamrock.
Shamrock is trying to drag Whitehead to the mat but Whitehead just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Shamrock drops down looking for an ankle pick but Whitehead pulls his leg out and moves away.

Whitehead fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Shamrock to the ground. Whitehead is now in Shamrock's guard.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Whitehead has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Shamrock to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Whitehead is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Shamrock pulls down on the head and he's put Whitehead to sleep! This one is all over!

A very excited looking Kenneth Shamrock rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
