The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Anderson misses.
Laid misses with a takedown
and Anderson counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Anderson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Laid looking for submissions off his back.
Laid tries to roll over but Anderson keeps him under control.
Laid is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Anderson lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Anderson wants to free his trapped foot but Laid is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

The fighters are battling for position here. Laid manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Anderson wants to control from the top but Laid keeps moving.
Laid has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Anderson doesn't defend quickly enough and Laid has managed to lock this one up! Can Anderson escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Laid on a fantastic submission victory.
