The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Eddie Farnsworth and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doleman closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into King's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
King tries to land a sweep but no joy.
King preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Doleman has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
King has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Doleman is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for King.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
King pushes Doleman away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Doleman gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
