Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Monkey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trygve Bondevik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Trygve Bondevik!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bondevik shoots in looking for a takedown but Monkey manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bondevik's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Monkey darts in and clinches Bondevik up against the cage.
Monkey misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Bondevik lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
A short uppercut from Bondevik.
Bondevik working some nice short punches in the clinch.

It looks like Mike Monkey has been cut.
Bondevik swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Bondevik is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Monkey just misses with a elbow thrown towards Bondevik's brow.

Bondevik shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Monkey's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Monkey knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bondevik on the ground.

Bondevik working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Monkey doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Monkey manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bondevik drops back looking for a leg! Monkey is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Monkey manages to kick Bondevik off! Bondevik jumps back into Monkey's guard.

Bondevik is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Monkey is just riding it out for now. Bondevik eventually gives up the hold.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well Bondevik has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
