Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Method Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Osulf Durin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Man might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Wu-Tang Clan-METHOD MAN . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durin misses with a combination
and Man counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Durin circles away from the clinch attempt.
Durin misses with a double jab.
Durin takes one to the side of the head.
A nice combination there by Durin.
Man tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Man instigates a clinch.

Durin takes a knee right on the jaw!

It looks like Osulf Durin has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Durin tries to keep at a distance but Man has taken the fight into the clinch.

Man keeps control of Durin as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Man unloads a knee to the mid-section. Durin lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Durin wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Man has him pressed against the cage.
Man lands a body shot in the clinch.
Man escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Durin dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
No joy there for Durin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Durin's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Man connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Durin scrambles back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Man cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Osulf Durin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Man has taken the fight to the clinch.
Durin is trying to break the clinch but Man is controlling him.
Man lands a body punch.
Man with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Man breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Man tries to clinch there but Durin circles away.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Man, as that shot connected.

Durin falls off balance throwing a combination
and Man counters with a two punch combo.

and Man counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Man closes the distance and clinches.
Man escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Durin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Man.
Man ducks under a wild hook from Durin.

Man makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Durin wants to get back to striking at distance but Man won't allow it.

Man pushes Durin back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Man landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Durin looks winded!
Man breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Man clinches up with Durin and pushes him back against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Method Man dominated that round.

Nice shot lands for Man.

Durin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Man circles away quickly and effectively.
Man rushes Durin and presses him up against the cage.
Man connects with a knee to the head.
Man has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Man escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Durin waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Man.

Durin throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Durin is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Man rather than just go for the knockout.
Man fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Durin to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Durin looks to clinch but Man throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Durin taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Method Man!
Method Man gave a mention to CEC Nutrition Q160 in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
