Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Along Recto!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Recto throws a nice looking combination but Wakizashi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Recto has his takedown stuffed
and Wakizashi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Recto misses with a takedown attempt
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Wakizashi throws a leg kick which misses Recto's front leg but catches the back leg as Recto tries to avoid it.
Wakizashi scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Recto misses with a takedown attempt
letting Wakizashi counter with a right hand.
Kabuto Wakizashi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Along Recto.
A slapping body kick lands there for Wakizashi.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wakizashi buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Recto looks winded!
Wakizashi throws a quick inside leg kick.
Wakizashi comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
A solid leg kick lands there for Wakizashi.
Recto misses with a takedown attempt
and Wakizashi counters with a nice uppercut.
An inside leg kick lands from Wakizashi.
Wakizashi throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Recto colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Wakizashi as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Recto is left battered and dazed whilst Wakizashi and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kabuto Wakizashi!
Kabuto Wakizashi retains his welterweight title!
Kabuto Wakizashi gave a mention to Damnfield clothing in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
