The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dawn throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cartwright was covering up waiting for the punch and Dawn finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Dawn got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cartwright has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dawn has managed to get both his arms back between Cartwright's legs - danger averted.

Cartwright isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Dawn stacks Cartwright on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Dawn!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Camber Cartwright.
