The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribera shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Alotadik pinned against the cage. Alotadik gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Alotadik just misses with a punch to the body.
Ribera throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Alotadik.
Ribera connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Alotadik stuffs the takedown attempt from Ribera. Ribera gets slowly back to his feet.
Alotadik wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Alotadik throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Ribera fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Ribera lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Ribera ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Alotadik fails to land with a series of punches.
Ribera takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Alotadik bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Alotadik throws a solid leg kick but Ribera takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Alotadik.
Ribera throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lik Alotadik is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ribera gets cracked there but stands up to it.

The fight stays on the outside here - Alotadik looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ribera has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Alotadik closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Alotadik clobbers Ribera with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Alotadik moves away from the strike by Ribera.
Lik Alotadik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ribera will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Alotadik throws a sloppy head kick and Ribera moves out of range easily.
Ribera slips under a jab from Alotadik.
Alotadik tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ribera was well out of range. Poor timing from Alotadik.
Alotadik is looking to slow Ribera down with leg kicks.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A left lands for Alotadik.
Alotadik connects with a solid leg kick.
The crowd cheers as Alotadik lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ribera doesn't seem phased though.

Alotadik tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ribera swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A nice inside leg kick there by Alotadik. That's going to slow Ribera down.
Ribera throws a right and a left that both miss.
Alotadik fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ribera has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Alotadik lands with an uppercut that bounces Ribera off the cage and back into range.

That has opened up Manny Ribera's cut even more.
Manny Ribera is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Alotadik connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Ribera is breathing heavily.
Alotadik dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ribera. That did some damage!
Alotadik lands a brutal head kick. Ribera looks out on his feet and Alotadik throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

A pretty intense looking Lik Alotadik took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
