Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank Dunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jojo Monchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Monchi has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! The key to victory for Frank Dunn has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jojo Monchi! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Monchi gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Dunn decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Monchi's guard. Monchi looks winded! We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Dunn wants to pass the guard but Monchi is keeping the position. Monchi has a closed guard, preventing Dunn from standing up. Dunn trying to control the position from guard on top but Monchi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dunn postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dunn landing with the ground and pound. Dunn throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Monchi works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Dunn drops back looking for a leg! Monchi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Monchi manages to kick Dunn off! Dunn jumps back into Monchi's guard. Monchi keeping moving, preventing Dunn from controlling successfully.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Monchi is not content to let Dunn control the position. Dunn advances nicely into full mount. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dunn working for a guillotine from mount but Monchi is in no mood to give up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Dunn dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Dunn shoots in looking for a takedown. Monchi tries to sprawl out of it but Dunn keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Monchi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Monchi closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dunn circles away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Monchi leaves Dunn with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Monchi is breathing heavily.
