Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rudy Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Furio Giunta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Giunta has chosen The Godfather Theme - Fantomas as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perry avoids the head kick by Giunta.
Giunta pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Giunta swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Perry.
Perry shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Giunta pinned against the cage. Giunta gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Perry with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Giunta to score with a decent uppercut.

Giunta throws a looping overhand right but Perry ducks down to avoid it.
Perry will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Perry controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Perry postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Perry passes Giunta's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Perry frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Perry is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Giunta can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Giunta really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Perry. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Perry takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Perry postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Giunta looks a forlorn figure.

Furio Giunta showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Perry throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Giunta's waist but Giunta gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Perry off to one side.
