Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alfie Norks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Herald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Norks comes to the cage accompanied by Like a G6. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Justin Herald was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Alfie Norks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Justin Herald!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Alexandre Firmino and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norks cracks the inside of Herald's front leg.
Herald comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Norks throws a leg kick but Herald checks it.
Herald throws a lazy uppercut
and Norks counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Herald throws a series of punches but Norks moves out of range.
Herald throws a shot from downtown. Norks moves away and avoids it.
Norks with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Norks uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Herald.
Norks does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Norks lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Justin Herald seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Herald closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Norks with a hook.
Norks fails in his attempt to clinch.
A slapping leg kick lands for Norks.
Norks scoring well with a low kick there.
Herald looks winded!

and Norks counters with a nice low kick that buckles Herald's knee momentarily.

Norks drops Herald with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Herald looks back up at him and smiles so Norks waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.


Herald is rocked!


It looks like Justin Herald has been cut.

Norks thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Herald if he has to take too many more of those.
Herald seems to have recovered his senses.

Norks manages to break the clinch.
Herald has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Norks.
Herald takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Norks lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A solid leg kick lands there for Norks.
Sloppy strikes from Norks. Those never looked like landing.
Norks throws a low kick but Herald avoids it.

Norks forces Herald back against the cage and clinches.
Norks trying to land knees to the body.
Norks lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Herald breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Norks connects with a solid leg kick.
Norks getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Herald gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Norks lands a nice looking body shot.
Norks fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Herald.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Norks.
Norks is looking to score with low kicks.
Norks fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Norks is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Norks drops Herald with a beautiful combination! Herald stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Norks is looking for the KO!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Norks.
Norks throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Norks drops Herald with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Herald! Norks dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
