Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Forrest Griffin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Fei Hung Wong!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Damien Edna and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Griffin drops back, looking for a kneebar! Wong looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Wong looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Wong!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wong wants to stand but Griffin has his arm trapped.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Griffin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Wong is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Griffin asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Griffin misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!



Wong gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Griffin has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Wong should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Griffin has tightened it up now! Wong should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
