The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Cesar as Mirko shoots in.
Mirko shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Cesar decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Mirko's guard.
Cesar passes Mirko's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Cesar controlling the pace.
Mirko is trying to stand back up but Cesar is controlling him

Mirko on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Mirko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cesar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mirko is trying to stand up here but Cesar is controlling him well.

Cesar is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mirko doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Cesar.
Cesar content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Mirko on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Mirko tries to kick Cesar off but Cesar keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Still in half guard, Cesar seems content to control.
Cesar is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Mirko is trying to stand but he's just given Cesar his back.
Cesar is riding his opponent, not letting Mirko buck him off.
Mirko is trying to get back to his feet but Cesar has full control of the position and if anything, Mirko has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Cesar controls the action.

Cesar is cranking Mirko's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Mirko! He's tightened the choke and Mirko is tapping out!
