Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Thorpe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thorpe has chosen Limelight by Rush as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
An inside leg kick lands from Hill.
Hill throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hill fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Hill throws a body punch but Thorpe moves out of range.
Donk. Hill catches Thorpe right on the button with a cross.

It looks like Scott Thorpe has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hill will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hill cracks the inside of Thorpe's front leg.
Hill fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Hill throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hill ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Thorpe moves away.
Thorpe uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hill.

and Thorpe decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hill's guard.
Hill wants to hit a switch here but Thorpe passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Hill there!
Hill is trying to escape the mount.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Thorpe connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Hill takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

It looks like Bobby Hill has been cut.
Hill is looking to improve his position but Thorpe isn't that keen on the idea.
Thorpe throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Thorpe breaks from Hill's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Jeez, Bobby Hill's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bobby Hill's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
