The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potratz throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ferrari.
Ferrari fails with the takedown.
Potratz misses with a body kick.
Potratz fails to land with a series of punches.
Ferrari fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Potratz tries to work over Ferrari's front leg with a kick but Ferrari checks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ferrari shoots in for a double leg but Potratz sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carlos Ferrari. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Potratz looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Allie Potratz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ferrari looks for a takedown but Potratz sprawls well.
Potratz moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Ferrari blocks a low kick nicely.
Ferrari throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Potratz's waist but Potratz gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ferrari off to one side.
Ferrari closes the distance and clinches up with Potratz, looking for a takedown. Ferrari pushes Potratz against the cage but Potratz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Potratz misses with a two punch combination.
Potratz throws a head kick that Ferrari semi-blocks.

Potratz lands a nice looking kick to the body. Ferrari takes a step back to recover.
Ferrari shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Potratz dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ferrari. That did some damage!

Ferrari shoots in and drives through. Potratz sprawls well.
Ferrari will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ferrari is breathing heavily.
Ferrari misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

A head kick lands from Potratz that sends Ferrari to the canvas. Ferrari tries to scramble back to his feet but Potratz brings him back down into side control.

Ferrari is rocked!
Potratz cracks Ferrari with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Potratz immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Ferrari is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Potratz!
