The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chase moves in looking to clinch but Penderas pushes him off.
Chase shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Chase uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Penderas.
A big left from Penderas misses.
Penderas avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Penderas throws a jab when Chase was well out of range.
Penderas avoids the head kick by Chase.
Guillermo Penderas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Penderas throws out a loose jab but Chase uses good head movement to avoid it.
Penderas feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Chase sprawling to the canvas! Chase rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Penderas finish him?!

Penderas lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Chase falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
