Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chan Sung Jung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cristian Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cristian Rodriguez struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Cristian Rodriguez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Sung Jung shoots in and bounces Rodriguez off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Sung Jung got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rodriguez has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sung Jung has managed to get both his arms back between Rodriguez's legs - danger averted.
Sung Jung drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sung Jung jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Rodriguez looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Sung Jung passes into half guard.

Sung Jung has control of Rodriguez's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Rodriguez regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Sung Jung wants to finish this one by submission but Rodriguez is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Sung Jung. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rodriguez is wriggling around trying to escape.

You can see the frustration on Rodriguez's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Sung Jung working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Rodriguez rolls, trying to escape but Sung Jung keeps control of the position.
Sung Jung is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Rodriguez knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Rodriguez for a finish.
