Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Teller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zack Fair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Teller comes to the cage accompanied by God's Gonna Cut You Down by Johnny Cash. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Zack Fair enters the cage!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teller throws an overhand right that lands on Fair's shoulder, as Fair tries to avoid the shot.
Fair lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Teller swings away with a body shot that misses
and Fair connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Teller misses with a right hand
and Fair counters with a single leg into guard. Teller didn't expect that.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Fair wants to stand and escape but instead Teller has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Fair wants to sweep here but Teller controlling him for the moment.
Teller trying to stand up but can't free himself from Fair's guard.
Teller not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Fair has his foot on Teller's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Teller works his way back into a safe position though.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jackson Teller wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Teller throws a hook to the side of Fair's head but Fair sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Fair has his takedown stuffed
and Teller counters with a series of strikes. Fair will be more careful next time no doubt.
Fair fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Teller avoids it really well and circles away.
An inside leg kick from Teller misses.

Fair walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Teller misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Teller looks to score with a jab to the body but Fair is just out of range.
A left lands for Teller.
Fair shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
letting Teller counter with a right hand.
Jackson Teller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zack Fair.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fair tries to score a power double leg takedown but Teller sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fair somewhat.
Fair displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Teller throws out the jab.

Fair on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Teller, as that shot connected.
Teller throws a hook but Fair blocks it.
Teller misses with a hook. Fair ducked under it nicely.
Jackson Teller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fair moves out of range as Teller strikes.
Teller tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fair was well out of range. Poor timing from Teller.
Fair throws a lazy head kick
and Teller counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Fair avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Teller misses with a straight left.
Teller fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Fair is out of range.
Teller misses with a low kick.
Fair blocks a jab.
Fair with a lazy takedown attempt
and Teller counters with a nice uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Teller lands a right hook to the body.
Teller lands a really nice looking cross but Fair seems unphased.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Teller misses with a looping right.
Teller changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Teller scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Teller fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Teller blocks a head kick by Fair.
Teller lands with a good body shot.
Fair has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Fair there as he acknowledges the shot.
Teller misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Teller lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Fair at a distance.
A big right from Teller misses.
Fair chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Teller can pounce on him.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fair moves out of range as Teller strikes.

Jackson Teller is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Teller misses with a series of wild punches.
Fair misses the jab.

Teller throws a lazy uppercut
and Fair decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Teller's guard.
Teller is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fair is aware though and is defending well.
Fair pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Teller is keeping the position for now.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fair accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Teller bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Fair's guard.
Fair lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Teller!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Teller tries to hold on but Fair pushes him away.
Teller blocking the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fair is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Fair!
