Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doug Graves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alejandro Zapata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Graves might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Alvarez. Zapata has chosen Tres Delinquentes as his entrance music. Doug Graves has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zapata bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Zapata connects with a body shot.
Graves throws a lazy uppercut
and Zapata counters with a left to the body.
Zapata checks a leg kick.
Zapata misses with a body shot.
Zapata misses the shot to the body.
Zapata blocks a low kick nicely.
Graves misses with a body shot.

Zapata takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Graves, as that shot connected.

Zapata tries to move into range but Graves moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Graves ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Good leg kick by Graves there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Zapata with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Graves to score with a decent uppercut.
Graves fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

and Zapata makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Zapata fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Graves looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Graves clobbers Zapata with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Zapata tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Graves was well out of range. Poor timing from Zapata.
Zapata fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Graves manages to avoid it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Zapata walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Graves checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Graves with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Graves connects with a good right hand that stumbles Zapata. Zapata circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Zapata is rocked!
Graves looks to land a left hand but Zapata moved out of range nicely.
Zapata is still on wobbly legs! Can Graves finish him?
Graves seems to be stalking Zapata here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Zapata drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
